TsaMpa went to Vilnius, Lithuania for the Youth Exchange " Work Fever " June 2022

  Marianthi, Timos, Vasilis, Sissy, Maria, and Antonis were a part of the 36 people Youth Exchange "Work Fever" in Vilnius this summer!  Youths from Lithuania, Spain, Romania, and Greece came together thanks to the organization Active Youth !  Project Summary The common idea that Covid-19 only affected adults and the elderly is wrong, even though the first months of the pandemic showed that young people are more resilient to the disease than older people. But are they also more resilient to its social and economic impacts? Even before the pandemic, youth unemployment in European Union was three times higher than among the over-55s. Youth unemployment increased dramatically in several European Union countries during the Global Financial Crisis. It took several years before youth unemployment rates came down to, or fell below, pre-crisis levels. Even by 2019, this had not been achieved in all EU countries. Erasmus is to share, dissemination of the training course "Take up, help yourself", May 2022

  Dissemination of Results The training course ended on the 9 of May 2022 but the outcome of this project will never end!  When the participants Christina Mpasouna and Vaggelis Paxinos returned to Greece they wanted to share the Erasmus+ experience with their friends, family, and university!  So as they said... We held an event, through which there was a presentation of the Erasmus + program (training course) in which we took part. The event took place in an auditorium of the University of Patra and was attended by people from various departments of the University of Patra (bachelor's and master's students) with an age range of 20 to 33 years old. Firstly, we told them that Erasmus+ is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport for the period 2014-2020. TsaMpa went to Stara Zagora, Bulgaria for the Training Course "Take Up, Help Yourself " May 2022

  Elektra, Vaggelis, and Christina were the amazing greek team who traveled from Greece to Bulgaria  and Stara Zagora  for the Training Course" Take up, Help Yourself" which came to life with the great work of the organization YDCMA .    We would like to thank them, as well as the Bulgarian organization  “ YDCMA ”   for this amazing cooperation. About the project The core objective of TC “Take up, help yourself.”, was the introduction of the nonformal and informal methods and tools for youth workers that can foster their contribution and support in the integration process in the labor market.   The group of participants consisted of 30 participants coming from 9 partner countries, over 18 years old motivated to develop their competencies in applying nonformal methods to facilitate the young people’s integration into the labor market. TsaMpa went to Cyprus for the Youth Exchange "Human Flow " April 2022

Nikos, Tasos, Bill, Yria, Lazaros, Anatoli, and Dominikos were our eight participants who traveled from Greece to Cyprus and Ayia Napa for an amazing Youth Exchange "Human Flow" .   We would like to thank them, as well as the Cypriot organization  “POLITISTIKOS LAOGRAFIKOS OMILOS DASOUS ACHNAS”  for their cooperation.   All the participants of the project learned how to integrate refugees better through social activities, developed new methods for refugee integration through youth work, exchanged good practices on alternative ways of taking care of refugees – integration and life within the local communities, lowered xenophobia, racism and foster multilingualism of the local youth, spread the main idea of the project to European youth, other NGOs, and the general public and gained insight into the possibilities for volunteering and other development opportunities.
