Dissemination of Results
The training course ended on the 9 of May 2022 but the outcome of this project will never end!
When the participants Christina Mpasouna and Vaggelis Paxinos returned to Greece they wanted to share the Erasmus+ experience with their friends, family, and university!
So as they said...
We held an event, through which there was a presentation of the Erasmus + program (training course) in which we took part.
The event took place in an auditorium of the University of Patra and was attended by people from various departments of the University of Patra (bachelor's and master's students) with an age range of 20 to 33 years old.
Firstly, we told them that Erasmus+ is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport for the period 2014-2020. It provides opportunities for students registered in a higher education institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad.
We talked to them about the knowledge that the program offered us, the importance of formal and informal education, the experiences we lived during this week, and the information we received from the people who took part in this.
The subjects that we discussed were mainly related to formal and non-formal approaches to the working environment, public speaking and presenting yourself and capabilities, unemployment, and alternative approaches to finding work and coming out of your comfort zone in order to be more communicative and approachable in your work environment.
Finally, we answered as many questions as we could regarding the way of application, teaching methods we observed during the program, booking of tickets, and the living conditions based on our experience as for both of us this was our first Erasmus+ program.
